Joining TWIM has never been easier!
- Join a facility or find a convenient pool near you.
- Join U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) for the first time as a TWIM-mer, or transfer your existing USMS membership to a TWIM one. See steps below.
We don’t charge any additional fees. Our coaches are compensated by the facilities.
The steps differ slightly on USMS.org depending on your circumstances, listed here as A or B:
A. New to Masters Swimming
Navigate to usms.org and choose to Join/Renew
- Fill out your contact information. Once you enter your zip code, the form is apt to update the next section to show “Pacific Northwest” as your LMSC like so:
- Under “Your LMSC”, make sure “Pacific Northwest” is selected. Under “Your Club”, select “Puget Sound Masters”; once you do, a “Workout Group” choice will magically appear. Choose “Team Walker International Masters” from this dropdown menu. Your result should look like so:
B. Transferring your USMS Membership
Maybe you are transferring to our area from another region in U.S. Masters Swimming (i.e., another LMSC). Or maybe you are in the Pacific Northwest LMSC but not part of Puget Sound Masters. Or maybe you are part of Puget Sound Masters but not affiliated with a workout group or are a member of another workout group.
If any of these situations match your own, you can use “Transfer My Membership” on the USMS website to become a TWIMmer instantly! USMS allows up to 3 such changes per year.
- Login to your account on USMS.org
- Under ‘My Account’ look for the button called “Transfer My Membership”.
- Choose the LMSC called “Pacific Northwest” and the Club called “Puget Sound Masters”
- After choosing Puget Sound Masters, a workout group dropdown menu will appear. Choose the Workout Group called “Team Walker International Masters” and you’re in!
